Missouri farmers and agricultural producers will have an opportunity to learn more about soil health and regenerative farming practices during a free conference in Kansas City.
The 2026 West Central Farmers and Producers Conference is scheduled for Sept. 17 at the KC Urban Impact Center. The event is part of a statewide series that brings practical agricultural education closer to producers.
This year’s program will cover soil fertility, plant and soil relationships and management practices designed to improve soil performance. Speakers will also discuss regenerative agriculture methods that could support productivity and long-term farm resilience.
Producers can learn about programs and resources available through Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education and the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The conference will include presentations from agricultural specialists, networking opportunities and farm-related door prizes.
Attendance is free, with lunch and refreshments provided. Producers can register through the Lincoln University event page.
