Workers at a major beef processing facility operated by JBS have returned to work following a recent labor strike that disrupted operations.
Union employees at the company’s Greeley, Colorado plant resumed work after reaching an agreement, ending a walkout that had slowed processing capacity at one of the largest beef plants in the United States.
During the strike, some cattle supplies were delayed as processing schedules adjusted. With operations resuming, throughput is expected to return to normal levels, helping restore the flow of cattle through the system.
Market analysts say the short duration of the strike limited broader impacts, but the disruption highlighted how labor issues at large packing facilities can quickly affect the cattle supply chain.
