- December corn settled at $5.43, up 15 1/2 cents.
- November soybeans settled at $13.28, up 24 1/2 cents.
- December Chicago wheat settled at $7.26 3/4, up 12 1/2 cents.
- December Kansas City hard red winter wheat settled at $7.94 1/2, up 10 3/4 cents.
- October live cattle settled at $220.950, up $5.025.
- October feeder cattle settled at $330.250, up $6.750.
- October lean hogs settled at $78.150, up 5 cents.
Grains opened the week with a broad rally. Corn drew support from strong export inspections, soybeans gained ahead of U.S.-China trade talks, and wheat climbed as Black Sea tensions returned to the market.
Cattle posted the day’s biggest moves after Friday’s USDA Cattle on Feed report showed August placements below expectations. Lean hogs finished just above unchanged as a stronger pork cutout offset weaker cash hog prices.
