Soybeans Sink as Cattle Rally Friday

Closing Markets for Friday, Sept. 11, 2026

  • December corn settled at $5.30 1/4, down 3 1/2 cents.
  • November soybeans settled at $12.96 1/2, down 35 3/4 cents.
  • December Chicago wheat settled at $7.25 1/4, down 16 cents.
  • December Kansas City HRW wheat settled at $7.98 1/2, down 20 1/4 cents.
  • October live cattle settled at $219.675, up $1.850.
  • October feeder cattle settled at $332.500, up $4.950.
  • October lean hogs settled at $81.525, down $1.625.

Soybeans led the grain market lower following Friday’s USDA crop and supply reports. Chicago and Kansas City wheat also posted sharp losses, while corn finished modestly lower.

The cattle rally continued into the weekend, with feeder cattle leading the livestock complex higher. Lean hogs moved the other direction and erased Thursday’s small gain.
