Grain futures are mixed in early Thursday trade, with soybeans and soybean meal providing the strongest support.

Soybeans: November soybeans are up about 6 to 8 cents near $13.27 to $13.28.
Chicago Wheat: December Chicago SRW wheat is down about 3 1/4 cents near $7.275.
Kansas City Wheat: December Kansas City HRW wheat is down about 1/2 cent near $7.99.
Soybean meal remains the feature in the grain complex after reaching another multi-year high overnight. Traders are also watching Thursday’s USDA export sales report. Crude oil is lower near $100.50 a barrel following Wednesday’s sharp decline.
Livestock futures have not opened for Thursday trade. The following are Wednesday settlements.
Live Cattle: October live cattle settled at $218.45, down $2.25.
Feeder Cattle: October feeder cattle settled at $329.65, down $4.20.
Lean Hogs: October lean hogs settled at $78.67, down $0.40.
Cattle futures were pressured Wednesday by profit-taking, weaker outside markets and news that the Santa Teresa, New Mexico, port is scheduled to reopen to Mexican cattle imports September 24. Traders are also looking ahead to Friday’s USDA Cattle on Feed report.
