Grain markets head into Friday focused squarely on USDA’s September supply and demand report due later this morning. The latest verified grain pricing available before publication is Thursday’s close; no Friday quote is being presented as current where it could not be independently verified.
Corn: December corn settled Thursday at $5.33 3/4, up 6 cents. Traders are positioning ahead of USDA’s new corn yield and production estimates, with trade expectations calling for reductions from August.
Soybeans: November soybeans settled at $13.32 1/4, up 22 3/4 cents. Soybeans led Thursday’s grain strength as the market positioned for updated USDA yield, production and ending-stock numbers.
Chicago Wheat: December Chicago wheat settled Thursday at $7.41 1/4, up 12 1/2 cents.
Kansas City HRW Wheat: December hard red winter wheat settled Thursday at $8.18 3/4, up 12 1/2 cents. Wheat remains sensitive to Black Sea supply risk as attacks continue around Russian and Ukrainian port and energy infrastructure.

Live Cattle: October live cattle settled at $217.825, up $1.975.
Feeder Cattle: October feeders settled at $327.550, up $1.725.
Lean Hogs: October lean hogs settled at $83.150, up 7 1/2 cents.
