JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. FCS Financial and University of Missouri Extension will hold five farm succession and estate planning workshops across Missouri in November.
MU Extension agricultural business specialist Wesley Tucker will lead the sessions. Families will discuss how to transfer the day to day operation of a farm, talk through decisions together and plan for the next generation.
The workshops are scheduled for Springfield on Nov. 4 from noon to 3 p.m.; Maryville on Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Higginsville on Nov. 10 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.; Farmington on Nov. 12 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.; and Troy on Nov. 13 from noon to 3 p.m.
