Texas singer songwriter delivers another story driven track with his latest release
WALLER, Texas — Texas singer songwriter Eric Osterhout is back with new music, releasing his latest single, Green Eyed Angel, on Aug. 7.
The new track stays close to Osterhout’s Texas Country roots with a story built around a roadside bar outside Amarillo, a woman with green eyes and a man who knows he may be walking into trouble but takes the chance anyway.
Green Eyed Angel mixes traditional country storytelling with a modern Texas Country sound. Osterhout says producer Austin Biel helped turn the original acoustic idea into the finished recording while keeping the story at the center of the song.
The release adds to a busy 2026 for Osterhout. His recent music includes Dive Bar Love Story, Done My 40, HANDful of Pills, Hot Fiddle Player and The Stillness Before The Rain.
Osterhout has also been building an audience well beyond his home state, picking up independent radio support in Texas, across the United States and overseas.
Green Eyed Angel is available now on major streaming platforms.
